Show Format
GeekNights updates every weeknight Monday through Thursday. An average show is about 45 minutes long, although this can vary considerably depending on the topic at hand and how many hours of sleep we’ve had. We break the show up into several “bits:”
The Leader ~ 2 mins
We always start the show with whatever noteworthy anecdotes come to mind.
The News ~ 10 mins
We hit on whatever we happened to catch happening in the world that day.
The Thing of the Day ~ 5 mins
We each highlight the most interesting thing we’ve seen since the last show.
The Main Bit ~ 30 mins
This is the meat of the show. Mondays, we talk about Science, Technology, and Gadgetry. Tuesdays are gaming days. Wednesdays, we hit on Anime, Manga, and Comics. Thursdays are free-for-alls and special topics.
The Meta Bits
Anything else goes here: mostly talk about the show itself.
